Bakery - Production Supervisor (Afternoon Shift)

About the role

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Production Supervisor, based at our Mount Kuring-gai site. The purpose of this role is to manage, coordinate and monitor the production and packaging of our Dough Processing and Baking products of the Mount Kuring-gai site. Ensuring that products are manufactured, stored, and distributed to the highest commercial quality/efficiency whilst, meeting corporate and statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a safe working environment and adherence to GMP standards

• Assist in building a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence

• Adhere to process requirements, specifications and standards

• Identify non-conformances and initiate corrective action immediately

• Assist in the development of Best Practice Standard Work Instructions

• Improve site production efficiencies

• Supervise your team to ensure correct labour and output efficiencies

• Hands on support throughout shift

About you

• Understanding of Work Health and Safety principles

• Willing to work as part of team towards a common goal

• A positive 'can do' attitude

• Excellent communication and influencing skills

• Leading or Managing Teams

• Experience in a Bakery or food processing environment or FMCG (desirable)

• Baker by Trade (desirable - not essential)

• Full working rights
