As an Associate, Custody and Middle Office Operations, you will play a hands-on role in supporting the day-to-day delivery of our custody and middle office services. You will be involved across trade capture and settlement payments, unlisted unit trust operations, reconciliations and asset valuations, helping ensure our records remain accurate and well controlled.  

Working closely with clients and out sub-custodian, you will investigate and resolve reconciliation exceptions whole supporting strong operational relationships. You will also contribute to improving controls, procedures and processes, helping is build a scalable and efficient operations while effectively managing risk.  

Key responsibilities include 

• Performing daily trade capture and booking into the system, and trade matching and settlement processing in CTM, instructing settlement to the sub-custodian under supervision. 
• Complete daily cash, position and value reconciliations between CBOR and the sub-custodian, escalating breaks. 
• Maintaining SSI and static/reference data and support security master accuracy. 
• Processing payments, including payments on listed unit trust operations, within maker/checker controls and support AML/CTF checks. 
• Assisting with asset valuation and pricing inputs from Bloomberg. 
• Investigate and clear reconciliation breaks and settlement fails, escalating aged or complex items. 
• Supporting wider custody, trade operations and corporate actions processing during peak periods and leave cover. 
• Contribute to procedure documentation and process improvement as a capable hands-on operator developing toward Manager-level breadth. 

About you! 

You'll bring: 

• Degree in Finance, Commerce, Business or related discipline (or equivalent experience) 
• 1–3 years’ experience in trade operations, custody, fund administration or investment operations 
• Exposure to FIS InvestOne, CTM or similar platforms desirable 
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in daily processing and reconciliation 
• Ability to work well under supervision while building technical and operational knowledge 
• Good organisational skills to manage competing daily deadlines 
• Developing problem-solving skills for break and exception resolution
