Digital Marketing & Website Assistant (Maternity Leave Cover)

Ascent & FootMotion.  We are looking for an ambitious and digitally savvy Digital Marketing & Website Assistant based in our Corporate Offices (Brisbane).

This role will have you interacting with our internal & external stakeholders.  Coordinating, managing and executing multiple national, local and store-based marketing campaigns.

This is a 12-month fixed-term maternity leave cover.

Experience in the following areas is highly desirable:

·       2+ years of work experience in a similar role

·       Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing or Communications

·       Experience with execution of digital campaigns end to end and performance monitoring

·       Coordination of digital (Social, SEM, SEO, etc.) multi-channel inbound marketing

·       High level of skill in social media with Facebook, YouTube and Instagram

·       Experience with Adobe Design Suite and Google AdWords/Analytics

·       Coordination of website maintenance (Shopify and WordPress design updates)

·       Experience in email marketing, segmentation and distribution with Klaviyo or MailChimp

Duties & Responsibilities (not limited to):

- Act as brand custodian to ensure brand essence and style guide are communicated consistently via all creative assets across all channels (internally & externally).

- Working with Graphic Designer, Marketing Manager and Sales Manager on campaign concepts, conference / event logistics, print collateral design and production to enable successful execution of campaigns.

- Identify, initiate and support the development of campaigns to drive acquisition/retention, cross sell and upsell of new and existing customers.

- Write clear, compelling content for digital and social mediums, including web pages, blogs, email communications, LinkedIn, Facebook / Google Ads and much more.

- Assist with the implementation of SEO / SEM / social media / content marketing initiatives.

- Drive cost effective acquisition marketing.

- Website maintenance and webpage design using WordPress, Shopify and Adobe Design Suite.

- Assist in reviewing campaign performance and effectiveness, including timely reporting on the outcome of digital campaigns using Google AdWords / Analytics and Facebook business tools.

In addition to the above you must display a high attention to detail and the experience to work to tight deadlines.  Proven ability to prioritise workflow and coordinate simultaneous marketing campaigns along with excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
