Storeperson | Forklift Operator – Full Time

Location: Altona, Victoria

Hours: Full Time Monday to Friday 7am-3pm

Start Date: Immediate start available

Hi-Tec Oils is currently seeking a reliable and safety-focused Storeperson | Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team in Altona.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload company and third-party vehicles.

• Operate both high reach and counterbalance forklifts safely and efficiently.

• Pick, pack and palletise customer orders accurately, including CHEP palletising.

• Receive, check and put away incoming stock.

• Replenish warehouse locations and maintain stock accuracy.

• Conduct routine forklift safety checks and report any maintenance issues.

• Complete delivery, dispatch and inventory documentation accurately.

• Assist with stocktakes and inventory control activities.

• Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment.

• Park company trucks and vans as required.

• Work collaboratively with warehouse, dispatch and customer service teams to ensure customer orders are fulfilled on time.

Essential Requirements

• Current LF Forklift Licence.

• Demonstrated experience operating both high reach and counterbalance forklifts.

• Previous CHEP palletising experience.

• Experience working in a busy warehouse or distribution environment.

• Physically fit and capable of repetitive manual handling and lifting.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

• Good communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude.

• Ability to work safely while following company procedures and WHS requirements.

Highly Regarded

• LR, MR or HR Driver Licence.

• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or RF scanners.

• Experience working with dangerous goods or industrial products.

• Previous inventory or stock control experience.
