Office Administrator/Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Office Administrator for our Car Rental Division in our business and to lead the day-to-day operations of our vehicle rental business.

This is an exciting opportunity for a customer-focused leader who can manage a busy rental operation, motivate a team, maintain a high-quality fleet, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily car rental operations, including bookings, vehicle availability, collections and returns.
• Deliver excellent customer service and handle customer enquiries, complaints and issues professionally.
• Oversee vehicle fleet management, including cleanliness, servicing, maintenance and availability.
• Monitor rental agreements, payments, deposits and vehicle damage procedures.
• Coordinate vehicle movements and ensure the fleet is efficiently utilised.
• Monitor sales, revenue, utilisation and operational performance.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers and business partners.
• Ensure company policies, health and safety requirements and rental procedures are followed.
• Identify opportunities to increase revenue, improve efficiency and grow the customer base.
• Prepare operational reports and provide regular updates to senior management.

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Previous experience in car rental, fleet management, automotive, travel or a similar customer-facing management role.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Commercial awareness and the ability to meet sales and performance targets.
• Good computer and administrative skills.
• A current driver's licence.
• The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.

Pay: $52,880.00 – $67,000.00 per year
