Construction Sales / Business Development Manager (Prefab & Modular Housing)

The Role

We are seeking an energetic, results-driven Construction Sales / Business Development Manager with a strong "Hunter" mentality. In this key role, you will be responsible for bringing in new construction projects for AUTA Homes and driving the end-to-end sales of our prefabricated housing solutions across B2B and B2C channels.

Key Responsibilities

Proactively network and secure construction contracts for AUTA Homes across residential markets.

• Build relationships with key industry stakeholders, including mining operators, tourism/resort owners, primary producers (farmers), and NDIS providers to offer scalable modular solutions.

• Guide prospective B2C buyers through our Display Site, showcasing modular options, finishes, and custom layouts (e.g., Granny Flats, dual/triple living).

• Oversee client deals from initial enquiry and site feasibility to Council/DA approval guidance, contract closing, and final handover.

• Identify untapped regional, commercial, and industrial opportunities for modular deployment across South Australia.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of proven sales success in the Australian building and construction industry (experience with Prefab, Modular, Tiny Homes, or Residential Volume Building is highly regarded).

• Strong prospecting capability with a track record of driving both B2B lead generation and high-conversion B2C sales.

• Solid understanding of building processes, construction estimates, and general Council/Planning feasibility workflows.

• Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills; ability to build rapport with diverse clients ranging from everyday homeowners to corporate mining executives.

• Valid Australian Driver’s License and full Australian working rights.
