Content Creator & Social Media Strategist (Beauty)

About Us

We are a fast-growing beauty brand and we are looking for a creative and performance-driven person to help us scale our organic and paid content!

We're looking for someone who can own our creative pipeline - from developing concepts and writing scripts to filming the content on themselves, managing creators, editing content, and delivering ad-ready assets.

Our office and warehouse are based in Lane Cove, Sydney. Ideally, we’re looking for someone who can work in a hybrid capacity; however, for the right person, we’d also consider a fully remote arrangement if you’re based outside Sydney.

What You'll Be Responsible For:

Creative Strategy & Scripting

• Develop new creative concepts, hooks, angles, and content ideas

• Research winning ads and identify opportunities for new creatives

• Write scripts and briefs for yourself and other content creators
  

Creator Recruitment & Management

• Manage creator relationships and communications

• Coordinate content briefs, deadlines, and deliverables

• Review creator submissions and provide feedback to improve content quality
  

Content Production & Editing

• Edit creator content into polished, high-converting ad creatives

• Add captions, hooks, text overlays, and other performance-focused edits

• Ensure a consistent flow of fresh content for testing and scaling
  

Performance-Focused Creative

• Work closely with the founder to identify new messaging opportunities

• Analyze top-performing creatives and generate new iterations

• Deliver high performing content for organic and paid socials
  

Requirements

• You must LOVE creating content and be confident and comfortable creating content on yourself for both organic and paid socials.

• Strong understanding of organic socials and Meta ads

• Experience writing hooks, scripts, and creative briefs

• Experience managing creators

• Strong video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar)

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
  

Nice To Have

• Experience in beauty, cosmetics, skincare, or ecommerce

• Experience working with ecommerce brands

• Understanding of Meta ad metrics and creative testing frameworks

You genuinely love creating content and feel confident and comfortable appearing on camera for both organic and paid social media!

You’re someone who naturally enjoys creating TikTok and Instagram content—whether that’s talking directly to camera, demonstrating products, jumping on trends or experimenting with different hooks and creative angles. You’re comfortable “yapping” on camera and know how to make content feel natural, engaging and relatable rather than overly scripted.

You’re highly creative, always thinking of fresh concepts and new ways to showcase a product, and understand what makes people stop scrolling. Most importantly, you have a strong eye for beauty content and genuinely enjoy the entire creative process—from developing the initial idea through to filming and editing the final piece.
