Branch / Service Manager

CJD Equipment is a leading Australian distributor of Kenworth, DAF Trucks and Volvo Construction Equipment, partnering with some of the world's most recognised brands to deliver industry-leading solutions across Australia.

We're looking for an experienced Branch / Service Manager to lead our Hobart operation, overseeing service, parts, warehouse and administration while driving customer satisfaction, team performance and business growth.

A day on the job will see you:

• Lead and develop the Service team to achieve productivity and performance targets

• Manage day-to-day workshop and field service operations

• Oversee Parts, Warehouse and Administration functions

• Ensure a safe, compliant and high-performing workplace

• Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and key stakeholders

• Deliver exceptional customer service and drive repeat business

• Support and mentor employees through coaching and development

• Prepare operational and financial reports for the General Manager - Tasmania

• Identify opportunities to grow market share and expand the customer base

• Drive continuous improvement across the branch

What you need to get the job done:

• Proven leadership experience within a service environment

• Experience managing technicians, tradespeople or service teams

• Strong technical background, ideally as a mechanic or technician

• Excellent customer relationship and communication skills

• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities

• Commercial awareness and a results-driven mindset

• Sound computer and administrative skills
