SummaryHII - Australia is seeking a Sustainment Systems & Planning Lead to join the team! This opportunity will be based out of Canberra, Australia. This position will provide integrated planning and scheduling capability that aligns operational demand, engineering constraints, and sustainment delivery across the enterprise and partner organisations.Key Responsibilities:Develop and manage integrated master schedules (FCD, LOTE, fleet operations).Align maintenance planning with operational demand and engineering constraints.Integrate ILS frameworks and support systems across partners.Implement repeatable planning processes aligned to US/UK models.Enable data-driven decision-making and performance reporting.What you need to have:10 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 8 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 14 years relevant experience.8+ years in sustainment planning, scheduling, or ILS.Experience building and managing:Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).Multi-stakeholder planning frameworks.Working knowledge of US submarine sustainment processes, preferably SSN/VCS.Experience integrating:Engineering constraints.Operational demand.Maintenance schedules.Strong analytical and data-driven decision support capability.Bonus points for:Experience within NAVSEA planning systems or submarine program offices.Familiarity with ILS frameworks (LSA, provisioning, maintenance planning) in US DoD context.Prior work with CSS or TYCOM Maintenance organizations, shipyards, SUPSHIP, or intermediate maintenance activities.Prior Shipyard Engineer, Super-JO, Project Superintendent, STE, EDMC, or 3MC.Experience deploying repeatable planning models across organisations.Proficiency in advanced planning tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project, or equivalent enterprise systems).
