Trade Assistant

Asset & Logistics Division | Full-Time | Paget, QLD

About the Role

As a Trade Assistant, you'll play an important role in supporting our workshop and logistics operations. Your responsibilities will include:

• High-volume forklift operations
• Loading and unloading trucks, parts and materials
• General labouring, housekeeping and yard/workshop maintenance
• Assisting with assembly and dismantling activities
• Performing spotter duties
• Following all safety, environmental and quality procedures
• Completing job documentation, risk assessments and daily paperwork
• Maintaining equipment, vehicles and PPE to company standards

This is a town-based position offering consistent hours, ongoing work, and no FIFO or DIDO requirements.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Current MR or HR Class Driver's Licence
• Current LF Forklift Licence
• Current Dogging Licence (desirable)
• Minimum two years' experience in a similar industry role
• A strong commitment to workplace safety
• A reliable work ethic with a focus on quality outcomes
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
