About our Client and Support Required : We are seeking an experienced Disability Support Worker to join us as a casual staff for our young non-verbal female client. Experience working with young people will be highly regarded.

Monday to Friday – 06:00am – 10:00am

                                03:00pm – 07:00pm

Saturday – Times to be confirmed

(Shift times may change if requested by client)

Duties include:

• Providing personal care assistance
• Transporting the client for community access and any appointments
• Assisting with light domestic duties and social support.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with the people you support.
• Follow established care plans.
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders.
• Respond to crisis situations, offering immediate support and collaborating with appropriate authorities.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions, assessments, and program outcomes.
• Work positively and collaborate with team members to ensure the highest care and support provided.

Requirements: 

• Cert III in Individual support or another relevant field. (Disability)
• Current First Aid and CPR (or willing to obtain)
• Current NDIS Worker Screening (or willing to obtain)
• Current (Paid) Working with Children check (or willing to obtain)
• Recent and relevant experience in a similar role
• 2 professional references
• Unrestricted Australian Driver's License (required if providing community access support, driving facility vehicles)
• Comprehensive Car Insurance (or willing to obtain - required if using own vehicle for work purposes)
