Team Leader for (MBU) Manufacturing Business Unit

AVIDA is a proud Australian manufacturer with over 60 years of success building high‑quality recreational vehicles. As we progress toward World Class Manufacturing, we are appointing two Manufacturing Business Unit Leaders to lead critical areas of our operation.

These are hands‑on manufacturing leadership roles, focused on developing people, strengthening production systems, and delivering sustainable performance.

The Opportunity

As an MBU Leader, you will have end‑to‑end accountability for safety, quality, delivery, cost, and engagement within your business unit.

You will be highly visible on the production floor—coaching peers, supporting problem‑solving, and setting clear standards to create a safe, engaged, high‑performance culture.

This role suits an experienced manufacturing leader who thrives in complex, labour‑intensive environments and believes great results come from great leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a manufacturing team

• Drive Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Engagement (SQDCE) outcomes

• Embed Lean manufacturing systems and behaviours

• Manage daily production rhythms, priorities, and variability

• Partner with Supply Chain, Engineering, and Quality

• Maintain strong standards, visual management, and WHS discipline

About You

You are a people‑focused manufacturing leader who leads with clarity, consistency, and accountability.

You bring:

• Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing environment (essential)

• Experience building engaged, high‑performance teams

• A calm, resilient approach under pressure

• Strong problem‑solving and continuous improvement capability

• Hands‑on experience applying Lean principles

• Clear communication and strong stakeholder engagement
