Structural Steel Estimator

An exciting opportunity is available for a Structural Steel Estimator to join our growing team within a well-established steel fabrication facility based in Toowoomba City. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with an interest in structural steel and estimating, and who is eager to develop their skills through hands-on experience and training.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of tender submissions and cost estimates.

• Accurate take off’s for structural steel items and associated materials

• Ability to liaise with external supplier for quoting purposes.

• Support the estimating team with project pricing and documentation.

• Ability to read Structural & Architectural drawings.

• Use of computer software such as Excel to produce accurate estimates.

• Liaise with internal teams to ensure accurate project information and specifications.

• Ability to check your own work against information provided on the drawings.
