About the role Reporting to the Sales Manager NSW, you’ll be responsible for producing accurate quotations, reviewing project documentation and providing technical support throughout the quoting process.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing detailed and competitive quotations for structural steel fabrication projects
• Reviewing engineering drawings and specifications to determine project scope and material requirements
• Liaising with Sales teams and customers to clarify technical information and project requirements
• Providing technical advice on buildability, fabrication methods and material requirements
• Maintaining accurate costing information and quotation documentation
• Supporting the Sales team to convert quotations into customer orders
• Participating in estimating and sales pipeline review meetings
• Contributing to continuous improvement within the estimating function

About you

To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

• Previous estimating experience within the structural steel, fabrication, manufacturing or construction industry
• The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with both customers and internal stakeholders
• The ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting quotation turnaround timeframes
• Experience using estimating software and ERP systems (desirable)
• A proactive, customer-focused approach with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement
