About The Opportunity

As the Facility Manager, you will be the key operational lead for all FM activities on site — overseeing planned and reactive maintenance, managing subcontractors, ensuring compliance, and supporting a safe and efficient hospital environment.

You’ll work closely with clinical and operational stakeholders, provide technical and strategic advice, and lead a team of FM and trade professionals to deliver exceptional service outcomes.

What You’ll Be Doing

Managing day‑to‑day FM operations including planned maintenance, reactive works and soft services coordinationLeading contractor performance, scheduling, supervision and quality assuranceEnsuring WHS compliance, inductions, risk assessments and safe work practicesMonitoring performance, work orders, compliance tasks and reportingPreparing monthly performance reports, maintenance summaries and defect logsManaging site‑level budgets, invoices, variations and procurementCoordinating shutdowns, inspections and business continuity planningBuilding strong relationships with hospital leaders and clinical teamsSupporting a culture of safety, service excellence and continuous improvement

What You’ll Bring

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar FM roleExperience in complex environments — hospital or clinical facilities highly regardedStrong understanding of building services, infrastructure and maintenance deliveryProven contractor management and stakeholder engagement skillsAbility to manage risk, compliance and operational performanceStrong communication, leadership and problem‑solving capabilityTrade or engineering qualifications (electrical/mechanical) highly regarded
