We achieve this through servicing Darwin, Palmerston, Katherine, Alice Springs, Tennant Creek, and Gove Hospitals, numerous local businesses and over 50 Clinics Remote Aboriginal Communities across a vast geographical area. Every day we help support healthcare for some of our most vulnerable Territorians.
Territory Surgical Supplies is a dedicated distribution channel of Medline Industries, one of the largest privately owned manufacturer and distributor of healthcare products globally.
Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has become available to join the team at Territory Surgical Supplies as a Purchasing Administrator.Job Description
Main duties and responsibilities will include:
Creating and managing purchase orders with suppliers.
Monitoring incoming deliveries and following up on order progress and ETAs.
Work closely with the Operations team & vendors to resolve incoming purchase order issues such short supply, incorrect supply and damaged stock.
Maintaining inventory levels and reviewing stock trends to support customer requirements.
Assisting with stock planning and helping identify excess or slow-moving inventory.
Communicating supplier updates, pricing changes and product information to internal stakeholders
About You
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:
Experience in administration, purchasing, inventory, customer service or a similar role.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with proven ability to meet deadlines.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and managing competing priorities.
Confidence communicating with a range of stakeholders, demonstrating tenacity, active listening and a collaborative style.
