The Opportunity

Veolia ANZ is seeking an experienced Plant Operator / Technician to join our team in Fairfield 2165. This role will ensure the effective and optimal operation and maintenance of our Recycled Water Treatment Scheme. The primary objectives are to meet all required quality, reliability and safety targets.

What you'll be responsible for

Operate and maintain recycled water treatment plant to meet contractual KPIs Monitor plant operations via SCADA systems and respond to alarmsTroubleshoot equipment issues and implement corrective actionsConduct routine maintenance, repairs, and equipment overhaulsParticipate in on call roster and after hours plant monitoringMaintain accurate records using CMMS and business systemsSupervise contractors and manage work permits Ensure compliance with WHS and environmental requirementsConduct sample collection and laboratory analysis

What you'll need to be successful

Electrical trade qualificationWater operations experience preferredElectrical and general maintenance experience
