General Manager Operations - Aged Care Northwest Victoria

As a key member of our Senior Management team and reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the GM of Operations (VIC) is a strategic leadership position designed for someone who doesn’t just understand the aged care sector — but lives and breathes it.

In This Role, You Will Be

Acting as an effective support conduit between on-site Residential Managers, other General Managers and Support Service functions.Leading a team of Residential Managers and supporting them to achieve their goalsLeading change accross your sitesDriving residential compliance such as Strengthened Standards, WHS and Food Safety StandardsLeading projects / Support sites throughout the regionsConsistently demonstrating and role-modelling a high performance, outcome-focused approachMaximising occupancy levelsMaximising revenue (AN-ACC) and managing costsSetting and sustaining a strong, valuesled culture across a multisite portfolioAssisting with commissioning new residential aged care homes and/or integrating acquired sites into an existing portfolioDeveloping and maintaining an effective, empowered and efficient team to meet the key result areas of the For Purpose Aged Care strategic plan.

What You Will Bring To This Role

Experience in a similar multi-site roleResidential Management experience in the aged care industry and familiarity with the regulatory frameworkDetailed knowledge and understanding of contemporary issues impacting the aged care sectorHighly developed leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to train, mentor and coach staffStrong planning, time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise.High level interpersonal, written, presentation and negotiation skills including ability to liaise and negotiate with key stakeholders.Strong attention to detail and ability to embrace technologyCurrent AHPRA registration (ideal but not essential)
