Records Coordinator

• Keep vital prisoner records accurate, lawful and up to date.
• Process warrants and orders for release, transfer and court attendance.

• Fixed term - full time role until 8th August 2027, earning $81,496 - $98,955 per year, plus super.

What you will do

As Records Coordinator, you will support accurate and lawful prisoner records services. You will work on-site in a small team and help staff and people in our care.

You will:

• keep accurate records and follow legal and department requirements
• process warrants and orders for release, transfer and court attendance
• provide timely advice about prisoner records to staff, people in our care and clients
• help review procedures and support continuous improvement across client services
• solve service problems and help the team meet priority work

About you

No formal qualification is listed as mandatory for this role. You should have strong computer skills and be confident using Microsoft Office applications.

You should also have:

• strong digital skills and the ability to create tools that improve work and data accuracy
• clear communication skills and the ability to adjust your approach for different people
• a supportive and inclusive approach when working with others and helping people through difficult situations
• critical thinking skills to solve problems and find ways to improve services
