Lead a skilled team that keeps vital prisoner records accurate and up to date.Play a key role in supporting safe and lawful prison operations every day.Build your leadership skills while working in a fast-paced and varied environment.Make a real difference by helping Victoria's justice system run smoothly.Ongoing, full-time role earning $81,496 to $98,955per year, plus super.
What You Will Do
As team leader records, you will lead the records team at Melbourne Assessment Prison.
You will help deliver accurate, timely and compliant records services that support prison operations.
You Will
supervise the records team and oversee prisoner records, transfers, classifications, releases and court documentationcoordinate bail and discharge processes while planning and managing the team's daily workloadmonitor compliance with legislation, policies and procedures through regular audits and reviewsprovide clear advice, prepare reports and work with courts, police, legal services and government agenciessupport other corporate services across the prison while driving continuous improvement.
About You
No formal qualifications are required for this role. You should have strong computer skills and a good understanding of relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
You Should Also Have
strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and support a teamsound judgement and problem-solving skills when managing competing prioritiesclear communication skills and the ability to build productive working relationshipsa commitment to accuracy, compliance and continuous improvement.
