ABOUT THE ROLE 

Join us as an Underground Technician on a 2-year Fixed Term Contract at our Dendrobium Coal Mine, located near the vibrant coastal city of Wollongong, just 75 km south of Sydney.

As an Underground Technician, you will be responsible for executing safe production activities according to the schedule.

Key responsibilities include: 

• Operate and maintain plant, equipment and physical assets in accordance with site standards and operating procedures.

• Follow standard operating procedures and apply safe work practices at all times.

• Report incidents, hazards and improvement opportunities accurately and in a timely manner.

ABOUT YOU 

To be successful in this role, you will be a reliable team player with a positive attitude, sound work ethic and the ability to work safely and effectively in a production-focused environment.

To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:

• Underground coal mining experience

• Relevant underground coal mining competencies and operating authorisations

• Generic Underground Coal Induction, including Self-Escape and CABA training

• Current Driver’s Licence

• Evidence of relevant training, qualifications and competencies

• Strong commitment to safety and hazard awareness
