About the Roles 

The Deputy/ERZ Controller oversees the safety of underground mining operations and provides general supervision of workers in the area of the underground mine they are responsible for ensuring statutory legislative compliance for all underground mining activities and ensuring underground personnel achieve production targets safely.
 
The successful candidates will have the following

• Third Class Certificate (QLD/NSW/Mutual Recognition);
• Previous experience working as a mine deputy in underground coal operations; and
• Experience performing statutory inspections in accordance with legislation.
