About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our client’s team in Melbourne.

This is a full-time opportunity for an engineer with experience delivering structural steel installation, FRP or civils on civil infrastructure projects and data centres. Working closely with the project delivery team, you will coordinate construction activities, manage technical documentation and support the safe, efficient delivery of works.

The position offers a salary package of up to $150,000 + Super + Vehicle, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate structural steel installation, FRP works and civil construction activities.

• Plan and sequence site works and construction resources.

• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, labour, plant and materials.

• Support crane lift planning and the safe execution of lifting activities.

• Review drawings, specifications and technical documentation.

• Manage RFIs, ITPs and quality documentation.

• Monitor project progress, costs and programme performance.

• Liaise with clients, consultants and project stakeholders.

• Support compliance with safety, quality and environmental requirements.

Requirements

To be successful, you will have:

• Previous experience as a Project Engineer.

• Demonstrated experience delivering structural steel installation, or FRP or Civil works on projects.

• Experience coordinating crane lifts and complex lifting operations an advantage.

• Civil infrastructure or heavy construction project experience.

• Strong planning and site coordination capabilities.

• Experience managing construction and quality documentation.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Full Australian working rights.

• Current Australian driver’s licence.
