Senior Compliance Officer, Regulated Services

About the role: 

The Senior Compliance Officer, Regulated Services (Assisted Reproductive Treatment (ART), Child Safe Standards (CSS) and Human Tissue (HT)), provides expert regulatory advice, undertakes risk-based compliance, enforcement and investigative activities, and supports complex regulatory decision-making to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and standards.

About you:

• Demonstrated experience in regulatory work, preferably related to registration, compliance, field investigations, gathering of admissible evidence and permitting functions as well as knowledge of relevant government legislation.
• Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities with the ability to meet deadlines while working in pressured situation.

Qualification(s):

• Certificate IV in Government Investigations.
• Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (e.g. public health, regulation, law) or an Ahpra registered health professional, or other relevant science qualification would be highly regarded.
• Current Victorian driver's licence.

Specialist Expertise:

• Experience in the private health or assisted reproductive treatment sector, hospital environment or in a clinical/science environment would be advantageous.

Additional requirements:

This role may include:

• Period of out-of-business hours work (e.g. weeknights and weekends); and
• Travel to regional or remote areas.
