Senior Contracts Administrator – High Rise Luxury Residential

Our client is a construction head contractor and as a result of continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator to join their team to work on a $50m to $100m+ high-rise luxury residential project.
The candidate will ideally have some experience working on the head contractor side on 20 to 30+ storey high rise residential projects in the Gold Coast / Brisbane / Sunshine Coast market with local knowledge. They will also look at candidates without local experience too ideally looking with high rise residential experience.
Will be reporting into an excellent Contracts Manager and will be a landmark high end project.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Manage the full contract lifecycle, from tendering and award through to project completion and close-outReview, interpret, and administer head contracts and subcontracts to ensure compliance with terms and conditionsPrepare, issue, and evaluate tender packages, including scope of works and contract documentationNegotiate subcontractor and supplier agreements to achieve best value outcomesMonitor project costs, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring financial control throughout the projectProcess progress claims, variation claims, and payment schedules in line with contractual obligationsAssess and manage variations, extensions of time (EOTs), and contractual claimsMaintain accurate contract records, correspondence, and documentationLiaise with project managers, engineers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure smooth contract administrationEnsure compliance with relevant legislation, industry standards, and company policiesSupport procurement activities, including sourcing and evaluating suppliers and subcontractorsAssist in dispute resolution and contract negotiations where requiredProvide regular reporting on contract performance, financial status, and risks to senior managementContribute to continuous improvement of contract management processes and systems
Qualifications and Requirements:Tertiary Qualifications in a Project Management, Construction Management or similarMinimum 5 to 10 + years’ experience in similar rolePrevious Financial or Accounting experience is idealSuperior analytical skills and attention to detailKnowledge of project administration and project controlsStrong written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated negotiation, stakeholder management and influencing skillsStrong MS Office Suite skills
