About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join the site team on a landmark 34-storey, 154-unit residential high-rise development in Southport. The project has completed its podium and is now progressing through its typical floor cycle. This is a high-profile opportunity to play a key role in the contractual and commercial delivery of a major Gold Coast tower, working alongside an established project management, design and site delivery team.
Key Responsibilities
Own the contractual record across the project, including variations, RFIs, payment claims, subcontractor correspondence and defect noticesAdminister subcontract packages in accordance with head contract and subcontract terms, including assessment of claims, variations and extension of time (EOT) submissionsManage the verbal instruction workflow — ensuring site instructions are logged in Procore, formalised in writing, and acknowledged by subcontractors within required timeframesPrepare and issue formal correspondence, notices and instructions in line with contractual obligations and timeframesSupport procurement sequencing and trade package administration in coordination with the project management teamWork closely with Project Engineers to ensure a clear delineation between contractual administration and technical/programme deliveryMaintain accurate contract registers, correspondence logs and reporting within ProcoreAssist with EOT entitlement and quantum assessments, including input into Time Impact Analyses (TIAs) where requiredAttend and contribute to weekly site and project meetings, including action tracking and follow-upLead procurement activities, including subcontractor and supplier engagement, tender evaluations and commercial negotiationsManage project cost control, forecasting, budget tracking and commercial reporting, and assist the Project Manager in preparing monthly reports for the clientProactively identify, assess and manage commercial and contractual risks across the projectAbout You
Demonstrated experience as a Contract Administrator on residential high-rise or major building projectsStrong working knowledge of standard form construction contracts and subcontract administrationExperience managing variations, RFIs, payment claims and EOT processesConfident, clear written and verbal communication skills, with high attention to contractual detailProficiency with Procore or similar construction management platforms (highly regarded)Relevant tertiary qualification in construction management, quantity surveying, law or a related disciplineAbility to work collaboratively within a site-based team including PMs, PEs, foremen and subcontractorsExperience with Jobpac and Payapps preferred but not essentialWhat We Offer
