We're looking for talent — not just another plumber.

Wet Tropics Plumbing is looking for another qualified plumber to join our Cairns crew.

We're after someone who shows up, knows their trade, takes pride in their work and wants to be part of a good team.

The work

Our crew gets involved in a genuine mix of work across Far North Queensland, including:

• Commercial plumbing and maintenance

• Council and government facilities

• Roofing and stormwater

• Drainage and civil works

• Leak detection and fault finding

• Commercial projects and upgrades

• High-pressure drain cleaning

• Excavation and hydro excavation

• General plumbing maintenance

You'll work with good gear, on interesting jobs and for clients who expect professional tradespeople.

Who we're looking for

You don't need to have 20 years under your belt.

But you do need to:

• Hold a current Queensland plumbing licence

• Hold a current driver's licence

• Turn up when you say you're going to

• Take pride in your workmanship

• Be able to work independently

• Work well as part of a crew

• Treat customers and teammates with respect

• Look after vehicles, tools and equipment

• Communicate properly

• Be willing to learn

• Be willing to lend a hand when the crew needs it

Most importantly, we want someone who actually gives a sh#t about doing a good job.
