INTERMEDIATE TAX ACCOUNTANT - BRISBANE CBD - GLOBAL FIRM EXPOSURE (JOB ID 952)

This is a unique opportunity to join a boutique Brisbane-based accounting firm with a global reach, offering far more than standard compliance work. With multiple offices and part of an international network, the firm works with both Australian and overseas clients across corporate tax, cross-border advisory, M&A and audit. 

You’ll be joining a small, highly experienced team with decades of expertise, providing you with direct exposure to complex client work and hands-on mentorship from senior professionals. This is an ideal role for someone looking to accelerate their technical development and broaden their experience beyond SME compliance. 

The Role: 

• Assist with corporate tax compliance and advisory engagements  

• Work on complex structures, including companies and consolidated groups  

• Support cross-border tax matters and international client work  

• Prepare financial statements and tax returns for a diverse client base  

• Work closely with senior staff on strategic and advisory projects  

• Build strong client relationships and contribute to ongoing engagements  

About You: 

• Ambitious Intermediate Accountant looking to take the next step in your career and gain exposure to higher-level work 

• 2–4 years’ experience in Australian public practice (tax/business advisory)  

• Strong understanding of Australian tax fundamentals  

• Progress toward CA/CPA  

• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn  

• Strong communication skills and attention to detail  

• Interest in corporate tax, advisory and international work
