The Wallaby Hotel is looking for an experienced Duty Manager who loves being on the floor, knows how to lead a team through a busy service and genuinely enjoys creating a great experience for guests.

A much-loved local, The Wallaby Hotel brings together great food, drinks, gaming and entertainment in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

We're looking for a Duty Manager who can bring energy, confidence and strong operational skills to the team while helping us continue to deliver the experience our locals know and love.

• Running shifts across bar, bistro, gaming and functions
• Leading, motivating and supporting the team during service
• Creating consistently great guest experiences
• Managing guest feedback professionally and confidently
• Keeping RSA, RSG, licensing, gaming and WHS compliance front of mind
• Jumping in wherever needed to keep the venue running smoothly
• Taking the lead when the Venue Manager is away

• Previous experience as a Duty Manager, Supervisor or hospitality leader
• Current RSA and RSG
• RMLV or willingness/ability to obtain if required
• Experience working within a busy, multi-faceted hospitality venue
• Strong understanding of liquor licensing, gaming compliance and WHS
• A confident, hands-on leadership style
• Someone who stays calm, organised and solutions-focused when things get busy
• Availability to work nights, weekends and public holidays as part of a rotating roster
• Most importantly, a genuine passion for hospitality, people and great service
