The RoleThis isn't just another agency cog-in-the-machine role. As the resident SEO authority reporting to the Director, you’ll take Wynne Digital’s existing infrastructure and shape it for the future. You get to run your department your way, set the strategic direction, and directly share in the rewards as the agency grows.
Your Key Responsibilities:Department Ownership: Take full ownership of Wynne Digital’s SEO offering from overall strategy to execution and client reporting.Core Technical & Content SEO: Execute keyword research, onsite optimisation, site health maintenance, and offsite management.Copywriting Direction: Create clear, structured briefs for external copywriters.Client Management: Present insights and reporting directly to clients in a clear, relatable way.Industry Leadership: Stay on top of search trends and algorithm updates to keep clients ahead of the curve.CMS Execution: Optimising primarily on Shopify and WordPress (with the occasional rogue Squarespace site thrown in for spice!).Manage Freelancers and external resources
Your Skills & Experience:2+ Years of Agency Experience: You know the agency landscape well and are ready to apply your experience in a new environment.Tool Mastery: 2+ years of hands-on proficiency in Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and Screaming Frog.CMS Proficiency: Comfortable getting hands-on with implementation across Shopify and WordPress.Client-Facing Skills: Proven experience managing client relationships with transparency and confidence.Table Tennis Game: At least some level of competitiveness on the table.Must love dogs: the resident office dog will require the occasional pat and cuddle.
