We are currently seeking a Medical Receptionist (part time and casual positions available) to join our friendly administration team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about healthcare, enjoys helping people, and wants to contribute to a practice that values innovation, growth, and continuous improvement.

As a valued member of our reception team, you will play an important role in creating positive patient experiences and supporting the smooth operation of our practice. We encourage initiative and welcome team members who want to help shape and improve the way we deliver care.

• Part time and Casual positions

• Starting rate of $27 - $31 per hour (negotiable based on experience)

• Immediate start available

• Flexibility required to work between 8:30am and 6:30pm, Monday to Friday

• Welcome and assist patients in a professional and friendly manner

• Manage incoming phone calls, patient enquiries, and walk-in appointments

• Coordinate bookings and maintain appointment schedules

• Process payments, invoices, Medicare claims, and insurance claims using EFTPOS and practice systems

• Provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure efficient practice operations

• Support doctors, specialists, and allied health practitioners with administrative requirements

• Assist patients with healthcare-related enquiries and navigation of services

• Contribute to new projects, services, and continuous improvement initiatives within the practice

• Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar customer service/administration role

• Experience using Best Practice medical software

• Experience with MBS billing and Medicare processing

• Previous experience in a healthcare or medical practice environment
