About the Role: Turn your Exercise Science knowledge into practical experience while helping older people live healthier, more active lives. In this casual role with ACH Group, you’ll support the delivery of safe, engaging exercise programs that build strength, confidence and independence.
Opportunities are available across all metropolitan Adelaide regions, including work in ACH Group locations and customers’ homes. Shifts are offered according to service needs and your availability, with increased opportunities expected during the November 2026 –February 2027 holiday period.
What You’ll Do:
Support customers to work towards their health, mobility and fitness goals through tailored activities
Deliver individual and group exercise sessions under the guidance of an Exercise Physiologist or Physiotherapist
Assist with engaging programs that help older people remain active, confident and independent
Observe customer responses, follow agreed programs and communicate relevant information to the supervising clinician
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary allied health team
Build positive relationships with customers, families, carers and health professionals
Champion healthy and active ageing across ACH Group
About You:
You’re an enthusiastic emerging allied health professional who wants meaningful, hands-on experience supporting older people. You bring empathy, initiative and a commitment to delivering safe, person-centred support.
This opportunity is suited to candidates who:
Hold an Exercise Science qualification; or Certificate 4 in Personal Training
Have a current driver’s licence and reliable access to their own car
Can travel to customer homes and ACH Group locations across metropolitan Adelaide
Have strong communication, engagement and motivational skills
Can follow clinical direction and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Have a genuine passion for supporting older people to live a Good Life
Have a satisfactory National Criminal History Record Check, no older than 12 months at commencement of employment
Relevant experience with older adults, community-based exercise or group programs will be highly regarded. Availability during December and January is strongly encouraged.

ACH Group is a not-for-profit organisation in the Health Care Sector. This means that you can salary package up to $15,900 per annum for living expenses and $2,650 for meals/entertainment to reduce your tax.
