The Opportunity 

A rare leadership opportunity is now available at Land Rover Doncaster in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs, representing one of the most iconic and sophisticated automotive brands in the world.

We are seeking an accomplished and commercially focused General Sales Manager to drive the next phase of growth for Land Rover Doncaster. This position is ideal for an experienced automotive leader with a proven track record in General Sales Management within a prestige or luxury automotive brand. Reporting directly to the Dealer Principal, you will have end-to-end responsibility for new and pre-owned vehicle sales - driving volume, profitability, and customer satisfaction while inspiring, mentoring, and developing a high-performing sales team in a dynamic, luxury environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all new and used Land Rover sales operations, including after-market products and services
• Drive revenue growth, gross profit, and market share performance
• Lead, develop, and motivate the Sales Team
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Land Rover Australia
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience aligned with the Land Rover brand
• Manage inventory, order banks, and vehicle allocation
• Utilise data, CRM systems, and pipeline management to drive results
• Contribute to dealership budgeting, forecasting, and overall financial performance
• Represent the Land Rover brand at customer, community, and brand events

You will bring:

• • Extensive experience as a General Sales Manager or senior sales leader at a luxury automotive dealership
  • A proven track record in driving sales growth and achieving gross profit targets
  • Strong knowledge of CRM, customer relationship management, and pipeline management
  • Commercial acumen and experience working within structured reporting environments
  • Outstanding leadership skills and the ability to coach and develop sales teams
  • The professionalism and credibility required to represent a globally recognised premium brand
  • A results-driven approach and high level of accountability
  • Previous experience with Land Rover, Jaguar, or other luxury automotive brands is highly regarded
