Discover the Opportunity….We have a new opportunity available for a National Converting Operational Manager ANZ to join our Opal Fibre Packaging team.
Based at our Rocklea, QLD site, the National Converting Operational Manager will be responsible for working with individual sites to build technical and process capability, delivering sustainable improvements that provide a step change in performance.
Key elements of this role will include:Creating a proactive health and safety culture to ensure a safe workplace that meets all compliance requirements as a minimum standardWorking with sites to develop action plans to improve converting output, reduce waste, document processes and controls including operator TPM'sDeveloping training materials and troubleshooting guides for operators as per agreed roll out planCollaborating with die making supplier to set die standards to improve FFG full die cut performanceWorking with the National Maintenance Manager to develop spare parts naming convention and a national approach to stocking of spare parts for Converting machinesWorking with sites to develop and implement Maintenance TPM strategies to drive improved machine reliabilitySupporting new capital installations operationally including training support

We are looking for:This is a highly specialised and technical role that requires intimate knowledge of packaging converting machinesAbility to train and build knowledge and capability of team members working with converting machinesSignificant experience within a packaging corrugating and converting environment is essentialAdvanced level of knowledge for Bobst or Goepfert converting equipmentSuitable converting machine knowledge and experience to drive maintenance improvement and cost reduction strategies.
