About the Role

We're looking for an experienced payroll professional to join our supportive, close-knit team. This is a hands-on, full-time role based in our Brisbane office, delivering payroll services to our ANZ team of over 1000 employees. You'll work closely with Stores, Finance, and HR to ensure accurate, timely outcomes and bring the experience to hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end fortnightly payroll for Pedal Group and subsidiaries. Delivering timely, accurate pays that our frontline teams can count on, every single time.
• Be the engine behind every pay event. New hires, terminations, salary changes, leave, redundancies, back pays, plus monthly bonus/commission runs and ad hoc weekly payments.
• Keep our payroll system and employee portal humming, managing access and ensuring the tools our people rely on stay accurate and reliable.
• Champion our frontline crew by running a responsive payroll inbox. Delivering prompt, clear and friendly support that makes every team member feel looked after.
• Safeguard compliance with confidence, including award interpretation, superannuation, PAYG, child support and all statutory obligations.
• Partner across Operations, HR and Finance and drive continuous improvement. Juggling priorities and bringing energy to payroll projects that make life better for the whole team.

Key Criteria & Qualifications

• You bring the skills to back it up. 5+ years in a similar role with genuine end-to-end, multi-entity payroll experience, and advanced Excel or Google Sheets.
