Digital Marketing & Content Specialist – Part Time

About the role

Working approximately 3 days per week, you will take responsibility for ongoing digital marketing activity across Google, Meta, social media, website, email and content. A major part of the role will involve capturing content from within the business. You might spend one morning filming a new machine demonstration, another creating short-form videos from a customer job site, and later that week optimising a Google Ads campaign or improving product and category pages on our website. Our SEO is already performing strongly, so the focus will be on maintaining and improving our existing position.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage digital marketing activity

• Manage and optimise Google Ads campaigns

• Manage Meta advertising across Facebook and Instagram

• Create and schedule organic social media content

• Film and photograph machinery, products, staff, customers and job-site applications

• Create Reels, short-form videos and other social content

• Edit video and photography for digital use

• Develop content ideas around products, applications, customer questions and industry topics

• Maintain a practical monthly content calendar

• Update and improve website content

About you

• Proactive, creative and commercially minded

• Comfortable taking ownership of digital marketing and getting things done without needing an agency to drive every decision

• Experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn

• Experience with short-form video creation, photography and video editing

• Familiarity with Canva

• Knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Semrush or similar SEO platforms

• Experience with WordPress or other website CMS platforms

• Understanding of SEO fundamentals, copywriting and content creation

• Comfortable picking up a camera or phone and filming

• Able to work independently and manage your own priorities
