Mobile Maintenance Administration Assistant (12-month fixed term maternity relief)

Tomingley Operations is seeking an Administration Assistant to join our team on a 12-month maternity relief contract. You will provide administrative support to the Mobile Maintenance department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is highly organised, has strong attention to detail and enjoys working in a fast-paced mining environment. You will play an important role in supporting the Mobile Maintenance team to ensure administrative processes are completed accurately and efficiently.

Responsibility of the role

• Accuracy and timeliness of all daily data entry duties associated with the Pronto system i.e. data collection for KPI (reliability, utilisation, costs etc)

• Work Order management, within pronto system, close outs, forecasting, data entry, and scanning.

• Collate and deliver asset health data for critical equipment to improve plant and equipment reliability

• Condition Monitoring – all oil samples to be printed, packaged & sent for analysis.

• Develop & take ownership of the administration of the Weekly & Monthly Maintenance Report.

 Skills and experience

• Experience with maintenance administration is desirable but not essential.

• A strong attitude and commitment to workplace health and safety.

• Current drivers licence

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy with the ability to analyse data

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Benefits on Offer

• $40/hour plus personal and annual leave accrued over the 12-month period.

• Monday to Friday roster 7am-4pm

• $11.90/day fuel allowance

We are looking for the successful candidate to commence in early October 2026, allowing for a suitable handover and transition into the role.

About Us

Tomingley Gold Mine, owned and operated by Alkane Resources Ltd, is located adjacent to the village of Tomingley, 50 kms south of Dubbo in Central NSW.  The current workforce consists of approximately 300 permanent employees in professional, technical, mining, processing and trades roles. 

The development of an additional open cut mine and further development to our Underground Operation have commenced. With this exciting expansion, there is an expected mine life beyond 2032.
