The RoleAs Head of Delivery, you’ll lead Sharon AI’s global delivery function, overseeing the successful execution of infrastructure delivery programs across the business’s operating regions.Reporting to the COO, you’ll work closely with the Head of PMO and Technical Project Managers to establish strong delivery governance, standardise methodology and ensure programs are delivered on time, on budget and to the required technical standard.
This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced delivery executive who can build and scale high-performing PMO and project delivery functions within a technology, infrastructure or data centre environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead Sharon AI’s global delivery function and ensure consistent, high-quality execution across infrastructure and client delivery programsLead, coach and develop the wider Technical Project Management teamOwn the end-to-end delivery lifecycle for new rack deployments and Service Change Requests (SCRs), through to ATP and IST sign-offEstablish and continuously improve delivery governance, methodologies, reporting and risk management processesMaintain visibility of delivery capacity, timelines, dependencies and budget performance across the portfolioAct as the senior escalation point for delivery risks and complex stakeholder issuesPartner with Sales and Commercial teams to assess delivery feasibility and resourcing requirements for new customer commitmentsProvide clear and accurate delivery reporting to the COO and Executive teamDrive continuous improvement across delivery tools, systems, processes and ways of workingLead post-implementation reviews and embed lessons learned across future programsSupport delivery budgeting and forecasting against the commercial pipeline and existing commitmentsBuild strong relationships with key customers and act as a senior escalation point where requiredRepresent Delivery in cross-functional planning and contribute to broader operational and commercial strategy
Skills & Experience10+ years’ experience across delivery, program or project management, with 3–5+ years in a senior leadership capacityExtensive experience leading delivery, PMO or program management functions within technology, infrastructure or data centre environmentsProven experience building, leading and developing high-performing project and delivery teamsStrong understanding of infrastructure delivery lifecycles, including commissioning, ATP and ISTDemonstrated experience establishing or maturing PMO governance, methodology and reporting frameworksExcellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence executives, technical teams and customersStrong commercial acumen and the ability to balance delivery quality, cost and speed against business prioritiesSound judgement and composure when managing complex delivery risks and escalationsStrong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to Executive or Board-level audiencesBachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
Experience in data centre, cloud or AI infrastructure, fast-growth or publicly listed technology businesses is highly regarded. PMP, PRINCE2, MSP or similar certifications are advantageous.
