About the role
We are a well-known global payroll outsourcing vendor looking for a decent Payroll Outsourcing Manager to join our business servicing team based in Australia. Details will be shared to shortlisted candidates.
Job Description:
Oversee payroll services for a variety of Australia and New Zealand clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Manage daily office operations, including internal payroll, administrative functions, and reporting requirements.
Lead and manage a diverse team of payroll specialists to meet quality and deadline expectations.
Review team outputs, including payroll calculations, social security contributions, billing, invoicing, and year-end tax adjustments.
Drive operational excellence and compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
Serve as the escalation point for resolving complex payroll issues and providing expert advice.
Ensure internal payroll processes are seamless and efficient.
Collaborate with stakeholders through monthly governance and reporting.
Work closely with global teams on new client onboarding projects.
Handle ad hoc duties and special projects as assigned.
We’re Looking for:
A minimum of 10 years of hands-on payroll experience from a global payroll outsourcing/ consulting environment.
Proven track record of managing AU + NZ payroll outsourcing and providing end-to-end payroll services for clients.
Proven leadership experience, with the ability to effectively manage and develop a diverse team in a fast-paced environment
Strong knowledge and professionalism in labor laws, payroll, and statutory compliance.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving payroll and operational challenges.
Proficiency in measuring and improving process metrics for enhanced efficiency and transparency.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and spoken, with fluency in English.
