About the Role
Join the Plant Product Integrity and Standards team and play a key role in supporting expanding market access opportunities for NSW plant industries. In this specialist role, you will develop evidence-based market access solutions that protect NSW from biosecurity risks while facilitating interstate trade.
Working closely with industry, interstate governments and national committees, you will build strategic partnerships, provide technical expertise to develop trade protocols, assess biosecurity risks, negotiate market access arrangements and deliver practical, least trade-restrictive regulatory outcomes. You will also represent NSW in national forums and contribute to strategic initiatives that strengthen market access, support industry growth and drive economic outcomes for NSW.
About You
You are a collaborative and solutions-focused professional who enjoys working at the intersection of industry, biosecurity and trade. You can analyse complex technical information, build strong stakeholder relationships and translate evidence into practical solutions that support and expand market access while protecting NSW industries. Your ability to influence outcomes, navigate competing priorities and provide sound advice will enable you to thrive in this dynamic and nationally connected role.
