Job Description

We’re looking for a motivated and passionate Demi Chef to join our culinary team.

Working across restaurant and Banquets, you’ll support daily kitchen operations, prepare quality dishes and help deliver exceptional food for our guests. From à la carte service to conferences, weddings and special events, you’ll enjoy variety and the opportunity to build your experience across different styles of service.

What you’ll be doing:

• Support daily kitchen operations and food preparation
• Work across restaurant and Banquets service
• Prepare and present high-quality dishes to brand standards
• Take responsibility for your section during service
• Assist with conferences, functions and special events
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and presentation
• Support stock rotation, waste control and kitchen organisation

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who brings:

• Relevant trade qualifications or experience as a Demi Chef
• Experience in a hotel, restaurant or high-volume kitchen preferred
• A genuine passion for food and developing culinary skills
• Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
• Strong organisation and time management skills
• A positive, team-focused attitude
• The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
