We are looking for an experienced and reliable kitchen all-rounder/cook to join our restaurant in Dakabin.

The main focus of this position is kitchen operations. We need someone who is confident in a fast-paced commercial kitchen and, after training, can take responsibility for running the kitchen during a shift.

Main duties

Cooking and preparing menu items

Cooking and general kitchen duties

Food preparation and portioning

Managing orders during busy service periods

Maintaining food quality and consistency

Stock preparation and rotation

Cleaning and maintaining kitchen standards

Following food-safety procedures

Working with and supervising junior team members when required

Opening and closing kitchen duties

What we're looking for

Previous commercial kitchen experience essential

Confident working independently in a kitchen

Able to handle busy service periods Reliable and responsible Fast learner and willing to learn our menu and systems

Available mornings, evenings and weekends

Able to start immediately or at short notice

Experience with cooking Asian cuisine highly regarded

Previous experience taking responsibility for a kitchen shift highly regarded

Hours & Pay Approximately 25–35 hours per week, with additional hours potentially available.

Competitive casual rate based on experience and responsibilities, in accordance with the applicable award.
