About The Role 

We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Educational Leader to join our team at The Pocket in St Lucia, Brisbane. In this role you will have a significant influence promoting positive outcomes for children and families as well as mentor and inspire a team of educators. 

To be successful in this role you will need the following: 

• An ACECQA Diploma in Early Childhood Education 

• Bachelor of Teaching (EC) desirable but not essential 

• Able to plan, implement and evaluate programs through your strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards

• Prior leadership experience in mentoring educators to meet high standards of curriculum and documentation

• Capable of engaging children through activities and experiences appropriate for age groups and stages of development

• Team-player who is open to different views, receptive to feedback and reflects upon best practice

• Flexible with routines and able to support multiple rooms requiring assistance
