JUNIOR BEAUTY THERAPIST - WAXING FOCUS

About the role

This is a beauty therapy position focused on providing professional waxing, brow shaping, tinting, lash treatments, facials and skin treatments. You will deliver a friendly, professional client experience while maintaining high hygiene and presentation standards, helping with general salon duties and keeping treatment areas clean and organised. You will continue to develop your skills through hands-on training.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional female and male waxing treatments

• Perform brow shaping, tinting and lash treatments

• Deliver facials and skin treatments

• Deliver a friendly, professional client experience

• Maintain high hygiene and presentation standards

• Help with general salon duties and keep treatment areas clean and organised

• Continue to develop skills through hands-on training

About you

• Currently completing or recently completed a Diploma of Beauty Therapy

• Must have completed waxing training/units

• Completed waxing component of Beauty Therapy studies

• A genuine interest in becoming highly skilled and confident in waxing

• Comfortable working towards providing both female and male waxing services

• Friendly, warm and confident with clients

• Reliable, punctual and professional

• Willing to learn and take feedback

• Able to work well within a small, supportive team

• Passionate about building a career in waxing, brows, lashes and skin

• Excellent personal presentation and hygiene

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Available for some late nights and Saturdays

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
