HR Business Partner - 12 Month Maternity Leave Cover

Exciting opportunity for a HR Business Partner to join a fast-growing aged care provider. This is an initial 12-month Fixed Term Maternity Leave cover contract, with the potential for extension.

About the role

Reporting to our WA HR Manager, you’ll partner with clinical managers across our aged care facilities to drive positive HR outcomes. The role is based at our corporate office in West Perth, supported by a HR team, and involves regular travel to our Perth-based aged care homes. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Providing high level, timely and professional advice to the management team in relation to all HR matters
• Supporting the HR leadership team, helping to drive a culture of continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain HR documentation and HR systems, including staff record keeping and policies and procedures, to ensure compliance with relevant workplace legislation
• Investigate and resolve complex employee relations issues, performance problems, and grievances.

What you’ll bring

• Proven experience as a HR Business Partner
• Tertiary Qualification in HR (or equivalent experience)
• Knowledge of and ability to interpret and apply the Fair Work Act, Enterprise Agreements and other workplace related legislation/regulations
• Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate with clinical stakeholders
• Experience with complex case management
• Driver’s license and willingness to travel to facilities across the Perth metro region
• National Police Clearance (obtained within past 6 months), current Influenza vaccination, full Australian working rights.
