As a Legal Counsel in PwC’s Office of General Counsel & Secretariat – Conduct and Workplace Relations Team, you’ll play a vital role in delivering clear, pragmatic advice to internal clients on employee, partner and workplace matters. You will build trusted relationships across our businesses and corporate functions, contribute to all aspects of people matters at the firm, and enjoy plenty of opportunities to develop and grow your legal and leadership skills.

What you’ll do:
Provide timely, trusted and commercial advice on employment, partner, health and safety and general workplace matters.
Lead and advise on complex conduct and workplace investigations.
Drive initiatives to improve the firm’s approach to people matters and ensure compliance with evolving employment law obligations.
Lead the firm’s response to employee and partner disputes, including by managing external legal counsel.
Build strong and trusted relationships with internal clients and governance bodies.
Collaborate with and support other corporate functions, including People & Culture, the Partnership Office and Risk and Compliance.
What we’re looking for:
Over 2 years’ post-qualification experience in employment law matters, preferably with a mix of both private practice and in-house experience.
Confidence in advising senior management with clear and concise advice (both written and verbal).
Excellent interpersonal and commercial skills, as well as an ability to build strong relationships.
Proven ability to identify and consider critical issues and articulate legal and reputational risks to support risk-based, commercial decisions.
Experience working within a formal governance framework to ensure consistency and appropriateness of decision making.
Experience with modern awards, whistleblower matters and regulator engagement.
