About the role
MCJ Maintenance & Repairs Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Field Service Diesel Fitter to join our team in Brisbane. Covering all of SEQ and northern NSW- we occasionally also work all over Australia & Internationally, supporting our customers.

This fulltime field service role will require you to repair and service a variety of earthmoving & civil equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and maintain heavy mobile plant and equipment

• Perform breakdown repairs and scheduled maintenance

• Conduct component change-outs and rebuilds

• Interpret technical manuals and service documentation

• High-quality repairs with strong attention to safety, workmanship and compliance

• Clear job card notes, service reporting and component history updates
  

What We’re Looking For

• Australian recognised trade qualification: Heavy Diesel Fitter / Plant Mechanic

• Solid experience on heavy mobile equipment in mining, earthmoving or construction environments

• Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to work autonomously in the field

• MR (Medium Rigid) driver’s license — essential for service truck

• High risk license & forklift license

• Blue card / White card

• Basic hand tools & power tools

• Undergo a pre- employment medical

• A proactive mindset and can- do attitude

• BASE ROSTER: Monday to Friday roster 38hrs + 2hrs overtime each week

• Plenty of afterhours and weekend overtime on offer with overtime penalty rates $$

• Company supplied Field service ready Isuzu truck with crane and all the bells and whistles to get the job done, phone, uniforms and fuel card

We are the service providers for Bay Shore Systems, Founders of LoDril's based out of USA! We build the machines here in Brisbane and maintain/service them all over Australia. Paid training will be provided in Idaho USA.

Our team also works with multiple Earthmoving dealerships in Brisbane, providing maintenance and breakdown services for both new and used equipment. Therefore, dealership experience is preferable.
