About the role:

We are seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to coordinate day-to-day cleaning and housekeeping services across residential accommodation, offices, teaching spaces, amenities and common areas. Reporting to the Cleaning Manager and Site Manager, this visible, hands-on role combines team leadership, work allocation, quality control, safety and client service.

Key responsibilities:

1. Lead the team and allocate daily work

Run shift briefings, assist assigning work areas and priorities, monitor attendance and productivity, coach team members and adjust labour as operational needs change.

2. Coordinate reliable service delivery

Ensure scheduled cleaning, room servicing, departure cleans and arrival preparation are completed within required timeframes.

3. Inspect quality and correct issues

Assist in conducting regular inspections across accommodation, offices, classrooms, amenities and public areas; provide immediate feedback, arrange corrective cleaning and follow up recurring concerns.

4. Maintain a safe and compliant workplace

Champion correct PPE, manual handling, chemical use, equipment operation and site safety controls, while reporting hazards, incidents and near misses promptly.

5. Communicate, report and support the client

Maintain accurate schedules, checklists and shift records; escalate service risks and supply issues; respond professionally to client requests and lead a respectful, accountable team culture.
