Accounts Officer

About the Role

We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Officer to join our growing Finance team.

Reporting to the Commercial Accountant, this is a hands-on role that will give you exposure to a broad range of finance activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, payroll support, reporting, and general finance administration. You'll play an important part in ensuring our day-to-day finance operations run smoothly while working closely with an experienced team that values learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing supplier invoices, expenses, and payment runs

• Assisting with accounts receivable and customer payment allocations

• Completing bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate records

• Supporting payroll administration and employee expense claims

• Assisting with month-end reporting and finance tasks

• Maintaining finance systems and supporting process improvements

• Providing general administration support to the Finance team

• Assisting with compliance, audit, BAS, and reporting activities

About You

• Previous experience in an accounts, finance administration, accounts payable, or accounts receivable role

• Strong attention to detail and time management skills

• Good Excel skills

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn

• Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player

• An interest in automation, technology, and improving processes is highly regarded
