General Practitioner

Youth Focus is looking for a GP to join our team and champion, develop and lead the set up and delivery of GP services collegially with our Practice Manager and Leadership Team. A key focus will be on clinical services, client experience and alignment to our Organisation's values and strategic goals.

Key responsibilities include:

• Deliver high-quality, youth friendly, and patient centered care with a strong focus on holistic health proving comprehensive, coordinated and continuous services to patients
• Provide preventative health, screening and early intervention care
• Champion the role of General Practitioner in promoting optimal youth mental health care in the community
• Work with the Clinical Director and key organisation leaders to implement and review operational frameworks in relation to complex care services
• Help develop and implement the Youth Mental Health Hub Model of Care, including GP shared care models and resources

To be considered, applicants will have:

• Current and unrestricted AHPRA registration
• FRACGP fellowship
• 'C' Class Driver's Licence
• Passion for mental health and innovative models of care
• Passion for working with young people
• Strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and patient-centered approach
